Peaceful Pines - Brookings is a brand-new senior living community opening this fall to provide independent living, assisted living, and memory care services for area seniors.
We are seeking experienced caregiver to join our hardworking team of professionals as Unlicensed Medication Aides. Certification is required.
The role: The UMA's primary role is to administer prescribed medications to residents, as delegated by the community's Registered Nurse. The Med Aide will work with the caregivers to ensure residents are cared for.
We have full-time and part-time opportunities for this non-exempt role. The UMA will report to the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a current South Dakota UMA certificate, be dependable, have a contagiously positive attitude, and a passion for working with seniors and/or caring for others. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and employees. Ideal candidates will have experience working in senior living.
