Part-Time Schedule Option (20 hours per week):Shift: Tuesday-Wednesday 8pm-6am CSTThe RoleWe are looking for a Part-Time Mental Health Provider to join our TalkNow Team. TalkNow is a 24/7, 365, on-demand telehealth service that exclusively serves the higher education student population. As a Part-Time Mental Health Provider on our TalkNow Team, you will act as a primary form of emotional support for the students and members (i.e. faculty & staff) we serve. We are looking for providers who have successfully completed a master's degree in professional counseling, social work, and/or marriage and family therapy and have worked with populations in need of crisis intervention, de-escalation, risk assessment, and safety planning.LocationWe offer a remote work environment. Work from home criteria includes but is not limited to maintaining your own internet with approved speed requirements, a HIPAA compliant workspace free from distractions, and successful completion of the credentialing, onboarding, and training programs. Adherence to HIPAA and compliance standards, and all policies/procedures required for this role.What You'll DoAct as a primary support & triage for incoming TalkNow sessions (via phone, video or chat) to support members (i.e. students, faculty, or staff) with a person-centered, strengths-based approach.Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and triage support as needed for students using TalkNow services, providing full availability during the hours of your shift.Collaborate with students to develop care plans, progress care, and conduct risk assessments as needed.Appropriately document sessions, assessments, and care plans in our electronic health record (EHR).Adhere to established standards for AIDET communication (acknowledge, introduce, duration, explanation, and thank), clinical documentation quality, HIPAA/PHI, and telehealth regulation.Consistently meet the required performance metrics for the number of required encounters per week and shift.Participate in quality assurance investigations to gather all applicable facts.What You BringCompletion of a Master's Degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy is required.Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills.Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation.Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, or have worked in a community mental health, crisis support, or college counseling environment.Fully Licensed Mental Health Practitioner with North Carolina state license - PLUS.Who You AreAble to adapt to the needs of the members we serve.Able to establish rapport, trust, and professional boundaries with students.Able to assess, triage, and document sessions with students potentially in crisis and/or experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicidal ideation.Able to respond to students who are potentially in crisis with professionalism, support, empathy, and an awareness of cultural humility.Benefits + PerksSemi-annual variable bonus eligibility.Phone reimbursement.401(k) with employer match, eligible after 1 year tenure.Company issued computer equipment.Free access to TimelyCare's virtual medical and behavioral health support.Mission-driven company with a supportive team culture.Spot Bonus for Holiday Work - $250.APA and ASWB sponsored CE opportunities.$25,000 Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.$2,500 Weekend/Overnight shift differential will be included in salary = $27,500 total.$27,500 Provisionally Licensed or Associates Licensed in NC or Fully Licensed in Other States.$2,500 Weekend/Overnight shift differential will be included in salary = $30,000 total.#J-18808-Ljbffr
