Overview

The Order Specialist is responsible for performing daily customer order management tasks that ensure timely, accurate processing of orders and organization of the stockroom. This position partners with the General Manager and Store Managers to ensure the stockroom is neat, safe and organized. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

  • Pulls and prepares customer orders for pickup
  • Evaluate customer orders each day for successful execution to meet the demand for Curbside Pick Up and Local Delivery requests
  • Executes all daily tasks so that all orders are completed on time
  • Communicates and follows up with customers on issues regarding their orders, all the way through resolution
  • Organizes the stockroom, ensuring it is well-maintained to support selling efforts of the store
  • Assists with cleaning routines around the store – including dusting, restrooms and vacuuming
  • Adheres to the time expectations established for the role, performing tasks with accuracy and timeliness, while exhibiting pace and attention to detail
  • Maintains and down stocks the Elfa product area in the Stock room
  • Performs daily locations audits on customers' orders
  • Executes changes to staging locations and partners with Managers on updating Elfa Pull Sequence
  • Supports carryout to our customers cars whether through curbside or in the parking lot/garages.
  • Consistently maintains clear communication with Managers to seamlessly complete projects and to achieve sales goals

Qualifications

What You Bring To Us

  • 2-5 years inventory experience preferred
  • Retail sales experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills
  • Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers
  • Possesses focused attention to detail and solid organizational and prioritization skills while working quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Proven communication and coaching skills
  • Makes strategic and effective decisions in the best interest of our customers and our company, taking care to objectively process information
  • Understands retail is an ever-changing industry and requires flexibility in scheduling
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
