POSITION PURPOSE:
The OTA Clinic Coordinator shall be responsible for the maintenance of the department's campus clinics and will act in a supervisory role for students during Level I fieldwork (clinic). The Clinic Coordinator will take direction from the Program Director and/or the OTA faculty.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Create and maintain clinic schedule, including room utilization, staff/volunteer utilization, and student scheduling.
* Set up and maintain treatment areas.
* Conduct clinics on scheduled days and times. Clinic formats will vary depending on the population.
* Ensure supplies and equipment are available for clinics.
* Maintain cleanliness and order within the clinic environment.
* Conduct evaluation of students and/or remediation in meeting specific criteria.
* Perform other duties as requested by the OTA Program Director and/or faculty.

* Knowledgeable about occupational therapy interventions across various populations.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
* Initial certification as a COTA or OTR.
* Current licensure as an OTA or OT in the State of Texas.
* Associates Degree.
* Two (2) years of clinical experience in the occupational therapy field.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
* Busy working environment with numerous interruptions.
SALARY: $35. - $40. per hour, based on license & degree / up to 19 hours per week
