JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:The Pennsylvania Water Resources Research Center (PAWRRC) at Penn State is seeking Research Assistants to support the operations and functions of the Center. The PAWRRC, founded in 1964, is one of the nation's 54 water resources research centers and institutes comprising the National Institutes of Water Resources. This national program, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior through the U.S. Geological Survey in a unique Federal-State-University partnership, emphasizes the role of university research, education, and outreach in addressing water quality and quantity problems. The successful candidates will have responsibilities that could include but not be limited to:
  • Assisting in advancing PAWRRC initiatives on water-related research, education, and outreach
  • Supporting enhanced PAWRRC communication and coordination
  • Providing PAWRRC administrative support
The position can consist of up to 20 hours per week of work.
