Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Paraprofessional at The Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC) in Bryant, Arkansas✨AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area. So, come as you are and grow with us.Pay: $18.01 per hour; can increase with more education and experienceWhat you will do: The Paraprofessional works as an active team member of the Education Department, providing instructional services to students. This position takes direction from certified staff to deliver and assist in instruction of classes and implements effective classroom management strategies. The Paraprofessional will conduct small group instruction, as well as individual instruction to students, as necessary. You will be required to track attendance, maintain weekly grades, and ensure student grades are available and posted.To be considered you should: Possess an Associate's Degree ~ Have obtained an active Parapro Certification ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's LicenseSchedule: Part Time Only; schedule may vary, may only work under 29 hours per weekApply today and Make a Difference in the Lives of Youth!After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults.
