Summary
Maintains and repairs park athletic fields and facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Maintains and prepares parks and athletic fields for public use;
* Operates lawn equipment;
* Repairs and replaces vital facility sports equipment, including nets, batting cages, and wind screens;
* Assists other city departments as needed; and
* Maintains and cleans park grounds on a weekend basis such as cleaning public restrooms and removing litter.
Qualifications:
* Valid Texas Class C driver's license.
* Applicants must be at least 17 years of age.
The job duty age requirements are:
* Must be at least 17 years of age to operate most park maintenance equipment.
* Must be at least 18 years of age to operate City equipment on public roadways.
