MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Two (2) years of grounds maintenance experience is preferred. Possession of valid Florida Driver's License and maintenance of clean driving record is required. A comparable amount of training, education, or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.Knowledge, Skill and/or Ability Required:Knowledge of tools and equipment required to perform duties.Knowledge of groundskeeping practices and principles.Skill in the operation and preventive maintenance of equipment and related tools.Ability to operate equipment required to perform duties.Ability to perform heavy manual labor under various weather conditions.Ability to follow written and oral instructions.Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public.Ability to focus on the positive in every situation.Ability to model respect for individuals, teams, and the organization.Ability to stay centered when challenged.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Ability to follow through with assigned tasks.
