Location: Virginia Beach,VA, USA
A Pool Attendant is responsible for successful operations and maintenance of the pool and amenity areas. This includes but is not limited to welcoming and attending to our residents, their families, and authorized guests while in the pool area, enforcing safety rules, and manage pool equipment and pool operations, among other duties.
Essential Job Functions
* Opens and closes the pool on time.
* Checks that all individuals in the pool area have a valid swimming pool pass.
* Maintains pools, chemicals, circulation system, and safety equipment and rules according to established guidelines.
* Maintains local health standards and complete proper records for readings and chemical usage.
* Sweeps the pool area, picks up trash, empties trashcans into the dumpster, and maintains the restrooms on an as needed basis.
* Reports any accidents or unusual circumstances to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor immediately.
* Reports any maintenance problems to the Maintenance Supervisor and or Property Manager.
* Maintains daily reports accurately.
* Ensures that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe.
* Welcoming guests and ensures pool rules are being followed.
* Maintains pool and amenities to Company standards.
* Performs additional duties requested by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
* Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, American with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to housing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Holds CPO certification as required by state law.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Time management skills are necessary.
* Demonstrated strong ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
* Ability to perform in a busy, changing, multi-tasking work environment.
* Ability to pay close attention to detail.
* Valid driver's license required.
* High School diploma or equivalent experience required.

Wednesday 8 am-12 pm
Friday 8 am-12 pm
Saturday 3 pm-9 pm
