The City of O'Fallon is looking for a customer-service oriented team member for the position of PT Recreation Assistant. This position plays an important role in the customer-service and administrative functions at the Renaud Center. Our PT Recreation Assistants enjoy a fun work environment, with plenty of variety in their workdays.We're looking for someone who has the desire to deliver great customer service and possesses strong oral and written communication skills. This person should be able to easily learn department policies and procedures and have knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment. As a PT Recreation Assistant, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Answering telephone calls and greeting visitors, providing information and assistance
- Maintaining and updating records including attendance, inventory, and basic financial transactions
- Filing and retrieving files, forms, inventories, logs, and other documents
- Registering program participants and receives related fees
- Processing pavilion rentals
- Assists with providing information related to reserving recreation facilities
- Processing new and renewed memberships
- Performing cashier functions using a point-of-sale register
Applicants must:
- Possess a valid Missouri State driver's license
- Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays or other irregular hours, as required
- Must be able to obtain a first-aid/CPR card
