Dean, Social Sciences Recruitment Type: External/Internal Requisition ID: req5668 Employment Type: Part-Time Support Staff Union Position: Non-Union Work Schedule: M, 1 pm. - 4 p.m.; W, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.; F, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.Number of Openings: 1 Job Description: SUMMARYAssists with research design, data collection, data cleaning, dataanalysis and preparation of reports, with an emphasis on data cleaning and dataanalysis. Works independently onassigned projects and adheres to project timelines. Works collaboratively withresearch team to refine research designs and data analysis plans, and toproduce reports.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Administers and collects informed consent from all participating study session students
  • Deliver self-report and performance measures to students
  • Coordinates with the course instructor to complete, label, log, and store saliva sample
  • Works collaboratively to create daily student questionnaires and measures as needed
  • Orders materials as instructed executes shipping process
  • Scores all performance/questionnaire data and reports appropriately
  • Assists with the organization of datasets and completion of basic analyses
  • Assists with miscellaneous administrative supports tasks as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or Educational Research
  • Significant related experience may substitute for education
  • Demonstrated experience and significant competence with SPSS statistical software

  • Possess excellent knowledge and skill in using quantitative methods

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in Social Sciences or Educational research
  • Graduate-level coursework in basic and multivariate statistics
