JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Water, Health, and Nutrition Lab is seeking a part-time research assistant to perform the following job duties:

+ Assist with onboarding for research assistants

+ Create directions for lab, passwords and contact sheets

+ Assist with lab tours, directions, check in to make sure all trainings and paperwork has been done

+ Determine RA availability and create schedules

+ Work with PI to determine meeting dates and times, send out meeting reminders and follow up emails with links and topics discussed in the meeting

+ Create zoom meetings if applicable

+ Pick up mail/packages from 219, order supplies for travel when necessary

+ Assist with training of lab research assistants and in person meetings

+ Track hours and reach out to RAs not meeting expectations

+ Continue regular RA research

+ Conduct literature reviews for PI

+ Draft IRB forms when necessary

+ Assist in upkeep and training responsibilities for wet lab

+ Advise RAs with their work

Education and experience must include experience in a lab setting.
