Job Type: Part-Time Wednesday - Thursday 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. & Saturday - Sunday 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (This position will each of these shifts on a weekly basis.)

**Position Overview:**We are seeking a compassionate and professional Part-Time Residential Visitation Specialist to facilitate and supervise visitations between children and their families in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the safety and emotional well-being of the children during these visits while supporting positive family interactions.

**Key Responsibilities:**- Facilitate and supervise visitations between children and their families in accordance with agency policies and procedures.- Create a safe and welcoming environment for families during visitations.- Monitor interactions, ensuring that visitations remain positive and constructive.- Document observations of family interactions and any concerns regarding safety or well-being.- Communicate effectively with families, providing guidance and support to enhance family interactions.- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to develop visitation plans tailored to individual family needs.- Assist in conflict resolution during visits as necessary, promoting a constructive atmosphere.- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and agency policies.- Participate in training sessions and professional development as required.

**Qualifications:**- Experience working with children and families, particularly in stressful situations.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Patience, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude.- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.- Familiarity with child welfare regulations and family dynamics is a plus.- Ability to pass background checks and safety assessments.

**Schedule:**- Part-time position with consitent and set hours.- Approximately 10 hours per week.
