Part-time Respite Care - Early Intervention - SaugertiesOverviewRequisition Number:3449Date Posted:10/2/2024City:SaugertiesCategory:Direct SupportDescriptionWe are seeking caring people for rewarding part-time, one-to-one positions, providing Early Intervention Respite services for infants, up to 3 years old, who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or developmental delays.Respite staff will provide 1:1 temporary care/supervision of the children with special needs, which will provide the parent/caregiver a break from everyday routines.Staff will provide a safe environment and may include social and community activities.Employees who work for Early Intervention Respite should be flexible and self-motivated. Time management skills are definitely important in this position which requires a great deal of independence.Day hours, after-school, early evening and weekend hours are available for Early Intervention.SCHEDULE/HOURS: 4 hours per week/FlexibleSTARTING SALARY: $ 18.50 to $ 20.35 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicableMinimum RequirementsAcceptable NYS Driver's License and a reliable vehicle are preferredComputer skills
