Job Overview Lafayette 148's Outlet Stores sell post-season merchandise by providing clients with a tailored, elevated shopping experience. The Lafayette 148 Sales Associate represents the brand image and is responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing a client base to achieve sales goals. The Sales Associate provides expert product and wardrobing advice while delivering a memorable client experience. Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain deep connection with clients and drives repeat business to achieve sales goals
- Consistently delivers memorable in store experiences to all clients; plans client appointments to maximize results
- Inform clients on in-store events and new product deliveries to enhance their experience and increase engagement
- Skilled at using multiple channels of technology to strengthen existing relationships and drive new client acquisition
- Possess broad range of product knowledge across all categories of the brand, takes initiative to stay informed to maximize selling potential
- Demonstrate the ability to address a client's total wardrobe needs across all categories
- Inform clients on brand services to ensure they can enjoy all Lafayette 148 has to offer
- Always puts the client first when resolving issues, exceeding expectations
- Support the operational functions within the store, operational functions may include: opening/ closing procedures, inventory, and daily revenue reporting
- Maintain merchandising and visual presentation standards
Desired Background
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
- 3+ years' experience of premium to luxury selling environment
- Existing client base/ book preferred
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication (verbal and writing) skills
- Proficiency in utilizing available technology
- Must be flexible and have the ability work evenings, weekends and holiday schedules
Base Pay Range The base pay range for this position is $16.00 - $ 20.00 hourly. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
