Job Summary

Primary role is as a support staff for Student Support Services. Responsibilities include assistance with scheduling and proctoring exams, maintaining websites, handling and maintaining confidential records, updating budget sheets, data collection, annual reports and other necessary record keeping. Assist in maintaining efficient and effective Testing Center environment. Troubleshoot problems with testing companies and faculty as needed. Adhere to and uphold best practices and standard operating procedures for all areas.

This position will remain open until filled. Hiring range: $12.69 up to $16.00 and hour, based on experience, skills, education, and training.

Responsibilities

Administrative support

* Enters data for a variety of reports

* Maintains changes on webpages

* Maintains confidential, accurate, and thorough records on students

* Assists students with applying for standardized and program entrance/exit testing accommodations

* Supports and trains students how to schedule exams and utilize adaptive software

* Maintains and provides supply orders as necessary to appropriate personnel

* Corresponds with campus community, external testing companies, and external organizations relating to Disability Access

* Other duties as assigned

Set up and proctor exams

* Monitors entry and exit at Testing Center, verify identification and exams to be taken

* Sets up and proctors exams for students and community testers, including remote options

* Troubleshoots issues with testing

* Ensures exams are returned to faculty and external testing companies

Maintenance of equipment and testing environment

* Assists in maintenance of technology on current equipment

* Ensures testing environment is optimal for testers

Required Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

* Knowledge of college and departmental policies and procedures, including confidentiality practices

* Knowledge of professional communication practices

* Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs

* Knowledge of operations and services offered by Student Support Services

* Skill in the analysis of problems and the development and implementation of solutions

* Skill in oral and written communication
