Position Summary

Duties & Responsibilities- Facilitate an excellent customer service experience, while maintaining confidentiality & professionalism
- Complete customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling.
- Refer customers to bankers, allowing for further discovery of products and services that might be valuable.
- Balance cash drawer, daily, with high degree of accuracy.
- Appropriately gain manager assistance (Ex: should suspicious transaction activity be spotted, or additional clearance is needed for transaction amount/type.)
- Scanning work for image branch capture.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & ExperienceKnowledge of:
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Bank compliance, security, and operational policies
Ability to:
- Learn to operate basic office equipment and systems at teller terminal.
- Accurately count money
- Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Lift 50 pounds
Education and Training:
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- Cash handling experience (preferred)
- Pursuant to the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act ( SAFE Act ), all Bankers (if lending) are required to maintain current registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry ( NMLS ). If such registration is not active as of the hire date, the Banker must immediately attain active registration upon employment. Bankers who fail to maintain an active and current registration will be unable to lend and may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
