Part-Time Utility Worker

Duties and Responsibilities:Check with designated lead person on job assignment.Produce parts on assigned equipment according to specifications and within acceptable production requirements.Unload and package parts according to EIMCo standards and customer requirements.Complete accurate daily records (date, times, quantities of parts ran, and scrap) for every job worked on, on Shop Travelers and in the ERP system.Follow instructions from all EIMCo documentation, including: Shop Traveler, Inspection Sheets, and blueprints.Inform quality control, shift supervisor/ lead person of any problems or concerns with parts.Accept responsibility for the quality of products/services provided and perform all required inspections in accordance with the EIMCo Quality Manual.Perform required preventive maintenance on equipment, watch and listen for abnormal conditions, and report any concerns to maintenance and/or shift supervisor/lead immediately.Maintain assigned work area in a clean and orderly manner and comply with all 5S procedures.Conduct all tasks and behaviors in a safe manner and comply with all EIMCO Safety Policies, including the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, as outlined in the EIMCo Safety Manual.Maintain all required documentation.Perform other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Mechanically knowledgeableExperience using basic hand and power toolsReliableExperience working in a fast-paced environmentWilling and motivated to learnProblem-solving skillsThe ability to multitask on a wide variety of projectsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to routinely bend and squatAbility to routinely climb stairs, ladders, or platformsAbility to walk and stand for prolonged periods of timeAbility to repetitively graspAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 poundsReasonable accommodations may be made to those who are able to perform the essential duties of the job.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:A mechanical skills background with machine operating experience. Formal education or experience may be substituted with training when competency in the position is demonstrated. WORKING CONDITIONS:This is a safety-sensitive position. This work is performed in a manufacturing setting with moderate to high levels of noise due to machinery and equipment processes.
