Mossy Ford is looking for a Part-Time Warehouse Associate. The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to properly maintain an orderly, and efficient Parts Department's Warehouse by receiving, stocking, and pulling parts as needed as well as retaining adequate inventory. Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage ranging from $17/hr to $19/hr. At Mossy Auto Group our employees are our most valuable asset. Other Duties may be assigned:
- Successfully deliver on goals while maintaining the highest customer satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date product and technical knowledge sufficient to effectively communicate with clients, technicians, and service staff.
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
- Provides high level service to internal and external customers.
- Notifies Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Properly check-in and stock parts into the warehouse.
- Pull orders for delivery.
- Process core returns.
- Post invoices.
- Support the company efforts to train and cross-train employees.
- Report to management any situation or condition considered to jeopardize the safety, welfare or integrity of Mossy, its employees, or clients.
- Deliver parts to customers and vendors when needed.
- Assist the Parts Manager with other duties as assigned.
- (This is a physically demanding position. Individual will be required to move throughout the parts shelves all day, reaching and climbing to obtain parts from inventory. This person will stand 6-8 hours during a shift at the customer counter.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Have warehouse experience (preferred)
- Have automotive parts experience (preferred)
- Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and parts electronic catalogs.
- Valid CA driver's license
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication skills.
