- Provide companionship and engaging conversations.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Offer medication and appointment reminders.
- Deliver specialized Alzheimer's care.
- Treat seniors and their property with the utmost dignity and respect.
- Communicate with clients in a warm and friendly manner.
Daily Responsibilities Include
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship
- Outings and medical appointments
- Assistance with showers, toileting, medication reminders, dressing, grooming, oral care, escorting, transferring, and other ADLs or IADLs.
(Note: Skilled nursing tasks such as administering medications, injections, wound care, or therapy are not required.)What You Need To Join Us
- Preferred: Adult/senior caregiving experience (work/paid, volunteer, family, etc.) - please highlight on your application/resume.
- Patience, compassion and a desire to impact people and families lives.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen.
- Possessing a valid driver's license, a vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- Availability to work part-time hours, primarily on weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to pass a TB test
- Completion of PCA training and CPR training
Pay:
- Starting at $13-14.00 per hour
- $15.00 per hour for nights and weekends
- Additional compensation for couples and holidays
- Performance and discretionary bonuses
- Same day pay available!
