Responsibilities:* Maintain a strong and visible presence to ensure safety and security.* Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter designated areas.* Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with directions, inquiries, and general assistance.* Conduct routine patrols and inspections of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activity.* Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols.* Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other security personnel as needed.* Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.* Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, reflecting the values of our organization.If you are applying for a role in our Stamford, CT Command Center, please note the following training requirements:* New Hire Orientation: You will attend a paid orientation session at Alliance Building Services headquarters in Manhattan, New York.* Onsite Training: Two days of paid onsite training will be required to familiarize you with the control panel and command system. This training must be completed on a weekday, regardless of your assigned work schedule at the Washington Boulevard location (The Worksite).Thank you for your understanding.Qualifications:* Minimum of 1 year Security Officer experience - preferably in an exterior patrol* Valid CT Security Guard License that will not expire for at leasts 3 months* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively* Demonstrate high level customer service skills, including the ability to professionally handle difficult situations* Ability to stand and patrol outside, no matter the weather or temparature* Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities to identify potential security risks and take appropriate action* Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy objects when required* Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays* Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility towards ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff* High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training in security or guest services will be an advantage#SR1
