JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Youth Counselor will work closely with program staff and classroom Instructors in conducting educational summer programs (STEM, non-STEM, and sports programs) for youth in grades 1-12, at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. Job Duties Responsibilities may include:
  • Assistance with registration.
  • Classroom activities.
  • Walking students to and from other locations.
  • Other miscellaneous duties.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Counselors will be required to attend an orientation program.
  • Penn State Students are encouraged to apply.
  • May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
  • Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check.
