Xano is the fastest way to build a scalable backend for any App using No-Code. Each Xano account comes with a Scalable Server, a Flexible Database, and a No-Code API Creator that can transform, filter, and integrate with data from anywhere. We are well-capitalized and on the road to accomplishing our broader mission: to empower anyone to create scalable, world-class software.

Why we're hiring:

More and more people are turning to No-Code to build the software they need. Since our launch in 2021, we have helped over 50,000 users build their backend using Xano. To date, all our growth has been steady organic/word-of-mouth. Since closing our Series A funding and as we look at our goals in the next 24 months, we need an outgoing community-oriented individual to support our existing Agency partnerships and cultivate new ones.

Who we're looking for:

We are looking for a Partner Advocate to build partnerships with our agencies. This person will help lead and manage relationships with these agencies currently in our partner program, onboard new agencies, and serve as the primary contact for these agencies as we grow our joint customers. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a global partner ecosystem for one of the fastest-growing No-Code platforms in the world.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop an intimate knowledge of who our customers are: Work with the CEO and company leaders on customer segmentation and key personas, and establish ICP(s) over time.
  • Understand the Agency Partner Journey: Have an intimate understanding of each customer persona and the journey they take based on their segmentation. Understand success at each part of the customer lifecycle including key activation/conversion triggers.
  • Recruit and onboard new partners into the Xano Agency Partner Program: Drive joint customer opportunities for partners and Xano.
  • Build multiple agency champions and understand their business strategy, organizational structure, and go-to-market focus: Become their trusted advisor and advocate for our partners' needs internally.
  • Build revenue pipeline of new joint opportunities: Focus primarily on high-growth agencies on Xano's Agency plans and agencies with Mid-Market / Enterprise customers.
  • Help facilitate support and product questions: pre-sales and support-related.
  • Host business reviews with larger partners: to drive accountability and report on success.

In 1 month you'll:

  • Learn about the business, how the No-Code agency ecosystem works, and Xano's role in it.
  • Develop an understanding of how we partner today, our partner program, and join conversations with agency partners and hear about their teams and use cases on Xano.
  • Meet the team, understand what makes Xano, and learn how all the teams contribute to the larger mission of empowering anyone to build scalable world-class software. Begin building relationships with key cross-functional partners.
  • Identify and understand the key metrics that influence our GTM strategy today, and understand how the different teams overlap and influence the KPIs.
  • Run discovery and presentation to prospective partners that are ready to engage with Xano.
  • Work with our Agency partners, help them evaluate Xano for new projects and be a trusted advisor.
  • Provide feedback and work with Product and Marketing teams to prioritize improvements to our partner program processes and benefits.
  • Manage and grow your portfolio of partners and have trusted partnerships with agencies.
  • Understand our company goals and bring in partners to help us achieve them, working with your cross-functional peers.
  • Operate as a leader/mentor for new hires on the team.
  • Support the planning and internal alignment of 2023 Xano Partnerships & Ecosystem strategy and priorities.
  • A natural storyteller, and effective at breaking down complex topics with analogies and stories: Ability to effectively explain technical concepts in easily understood language.
  • Aptitude for learning: Prior experience or aptitude for learning programming concepts and a technical product.
  • Have a customer-first mentality: Have a solid understanding of how to empathize with the customer, understand their pain, and sell them Xano as a solution if it can truly help them.
  • Enthusiastic and Team-oriented: Exhibits passion and excitement over work. Has a can-do attitude. Also can work with a small team and work collaboratively to come up with thoughtful solutions.
  • Work ethic: Possesses a strong willingness to work hard and sometimes long hours to get the job done. Has a track record of working hard.
  • High standards: Expect personal performance and team performance to be nothing short of the best.
  • Flexible and adaptable: Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Copes effectively with complexity and change.
  • (PLUS) Has worked in partnerships at a B2B SaaS Company.
  • (PLUS) Has Basic knowledge of the No-Code industry: We are one of the only No-Code Backend platforms that connect to a wide variety of No-Code Front-ends. Having a basic understanding of the landscape would be preferred.
