As a Partner (Client Relationship Leader) at JM Search, you will be a key driver in expanding our client portfolio within the retained executive search domain. Leveraging your network and proven relationship management, client management and business development expertise, you will cultivate and foster relationships with Private Equity firms, driving business growth and contributing to our continued success.   • Proactively engage in networking activities, including industry events, conferences, and professional associations, to build and expand contacts within the Private Equity sector and related industries. Actively seek opportunities to establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Focus on fostering connections with industry leaders and executives. Invest time in understanding their needs, challenges, and market trends to effectively position JM Search's services and offerings.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential clients. Engage in meaningful conversations to comprehend their specific executive search needs, challenges, and expectations.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to propose bespoke solutions that align with the unique requirements of each client. Showcase JM Search's capabilities and value proposition to address their executive talent acquisition needs effectively.
  • Implement a well-defined sales process encompassing prospecting, initial contact, needs assessment, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate performance against established KPIs, such as conversion rates, revenue generated, etc.
  • Actively pursue and acquire new client accounts through proactive outreach, relationship-building, industry networking and other business development techniques.
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business, referrals, and long-term partnerships. Strive to become a trusted advisor by providing ongoing support, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven track record in account development, business development and complex relationship management with a focus on the Private Equity sector.
  • Strong network and established relationships with key stakeholders within PE firms.
  • Results-driven approach with a history of reaching business development quotas and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional process management skills and proficiency in providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to both hunt for new business opportunities and effectively manage existing accounts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
  • Prior knowledge or experience within the Healthcare and/or Life Sciences sector is strongly desired but not a strict requirement.
  • Prior knowledge or experience within the Human Capital Management arena (such as search, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Executive Assessment) is strongly desired but not a strict requirement.
