Job Description:

The Partner Development Representative is responsible for educating long term care facilities about the Provider Partners product and manage engagement in supplemental benefits.

This role will be key in assisting members with supplemental benefit utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direction of the Director of Partner Development to drive and achieve sales goals by leading or advancing the sales cycle
  • Contribute to the development of a viable sales plan for the assigned territory
  • Serve as a subject matter expert of the Provider Partners plans
  • Serve as a liaison for Provider Partners in a designated territory via (group) or individual education opportunities
  • Educate eligible consumers about the Provider Partners plan
  • Participate in planning and implementation of outreach strategies and programs in conjunction with pphp sales team
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to assist members with supplemental benefit utilization
  • Assist benefits advisor with Lead Generation and lead management
  • Presentation of the Provider Partners program
  • Assisting with member satisfaction
  • Execute basic administrative duties as defined by the Director
  • Maintain a working knowledge of plan benefit, program changes and industry insights
  • Ensure compliance and quality of sales process components, adhering to all Provider Partners policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Strong self confidence, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 2+ years customer service experience or equivalent work experience
  • Experience creating, facilitating and presenting to a variety of stakeholders in-person, conference calls, WebEx, etc.
  • Ability to work some occasional evenings/weekends
  • Reliable, insured transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Computer skills: Windows-based applications
  • Ability to work as a telecommuter
  • Ability to travel throughout the designated local territory
  • Ability to communicate complex healthcare information to potential clients
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships to reach business goals
  • Ability to be compassionate while communicating
  • Function independently and responsibly with minimal need for supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities including visiting nursing homes on a regular basis and following up on member inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Ability to track a schedule to keep appointments on time and information pertaining to those appointments in order
  • Understanding of the nursing home environment
