Partner Manager

About the role

The Partner Manager will report to the and will be responsible for managing business-to-business relationships with assigned partners and vendors. The individual will manage product offerings, rebates, contracts, and yearly certifications. This position is office-based; Partner Managers are provided office space at their local office.

What you'll do

  • Develop a deep understanding of vendor requirements and deliver a commercially focused strategic sourcing function.
  • Promote Computacenter US (CCUS) as the preferred route to market for our vendors and reverse sell CCUS's capabilities into vendor partners.
  • Develop and own commercial programs with vendors, building strategies to maximize the commercial benefit for CCUS from these programs while ensuring compliance with vendor programs.
  • Negotiate with vendors to deliver the best pricing and terms for CCUS.
  • Manage rebates, marketing funds, and vendor contribution programs.
  • Facilitate the creation of solutions between Sales and Vendor, shaping and negotiating large, complex opportunities.
  • Drive the performance of suppliers to deliver CCUS objectives.
  • Facilitate the development of joint partnerships between CCUS and vendors.
  • Manage relationships with partners and CCUS to build the brand and the business.
  • Develop a strategic plan for overall growth and engagement with Computacenter United States.
  • Drive change, innovation, and growth across the Partner programs.
  • Maximize front and back-end processes for partner-specific items such as rebate programs and partner-specific solutions.
  • Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast strategic changes, and report on key metrics.
  • Act as a point of escalation on complex issues and provide support to internal team members.
  • Review forecasts for opportunities to negotiate additional discounts and programs.
  • Communicate partner programs and processes to internal departments.
  • Manage Certification and Partner requirements.
  • Facilitate Internal & External QBR/BPs for assigned partners.
  • Assist with customer-facing meetings regarding end-user programs.
  • Assist with new Vendor Qualification and Onboarding.
  • Maintain and improve business profitability within assigned partner lines.
  • Maintain and improve business lines incorporating new products when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Embrace and support Computacenter's mission and core values.

What you have

  • 5-7+ years' experience in vendor management, negotiation, and business strategy development.
  • Experience in a technology company in service delivery in the IT industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a challenging environment.
  • Experience of working at a strategic level to enable partners and vendors to increase sales and enhance relationships.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to assess potential growth in partner relationships.
  • Contributes to the organizational vision and strategy, initiating and leading collaborative forums across the organization to create the foundation for achieving strategic goals.
  • Demonstrates understanding of current and emerging market trends, geographic and cultural needs.
  • Ability to develop strategy to implement lessons learned to future deals.
  • Ability to drive innovation in deal constructs with the business.
  • Able to drive continuous improvement through the creation of new metrics based on current performance.
