Job Description:
SUMMARY:Under the general direction of the Vice President, Programs, this position will be responsible for reviewing Direct Relief's Agreed Upon Procedures and Donation Agreements with its global healthcare provider partners to educate and confirm their compliance with SOPs,agreements and overall understanding of the requirements for working with Direct Relief. The Partner Services & Program Compliance Manager will also support the general engagement and development of Direct Relief's healthcare provider network including communication strategies, onboarding/renewals, database maintenance and best practices for capturing partner information. SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete virtual and in-person review of Donation Agreement terms and Agreed Upon Procedures for Direct Relief's healthcare provider network participating in medication donation programs using the organization's compliance review instruments.
  • Schedule audits, reviews, or site visits with organizations based on specific program criteria, highlighted compliance concerns, or relevant geographic considerations.
  • Extract relevant data based on predetermined criteria set forth by Direct Relief to assist with completion of assessment instrument.
  • Using the appropriate instrument, review partner operations, relevant documentation, interview with partner to confirm that partner's operations, including the patient screening processes, medication receipt, storage, product segregation, and dispensing, comply with program requirements and that program product is used appropriately.
  • As needed, conduct a virtual or in-person pharmacy tour, testing secure storage and segregation of medications including all storage area access points and staffing.
  • Prepare final assessment and recommendations for Corrective Action Plan to Direct Relief's Compliance Team and Pharmacy Team for review.
  • Follow up with partner to provide additional education, training, and ensure that any required Corrective Action Plan is completed.
  • Work closely with Pharmacy, Compliance, and Quality Teams.
  • Report and monitor programming for key internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies to maximize support for healthcare partners.
  • Review and update healthcare partner accounts.
  • Support both internal and external best practices for capturing healthcare partner data.
Qualification, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience, auditing experience strongly preferred.
  • At least three years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multifunctional team.
  • Ability to work and interact with multiple senior level external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing interests/ tasks and prioritize accordingly.
  • Have excellent organizational skills, be detail and task oriented.
  • Excellent computer skills especially with Microsoft applications.

Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
