The Partnership Sales Associate solicits and shepherds Daily Citizen corporate partnerships, as well as newsletter advertising and other revenue-generating offerings. This position is critical to helping grow overall income toward sustainability and carries responsibility for generating significant revenue; it is ideal for an early- to mid-career sales or development professional ready to assume responsibility for a dedicated portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Prospects and solicits corporate partnerships, including retention and customer service efforts
- Works with the Partnership Sales Manager and uses leads generated internally and via a variety of stakeholders to research, prioritize, cultivate and close sales with corporate prospects.
- Fulfills corporate partnership benefits at all levels, including advertising and sponsored content placements, eblasts, courtesy subscriptions, and other partner benefits.
Qualifications
- Four-year degree in business, development, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field, or equivalent of education and experience
- 2+ years' of sales or development experience with revenue generating responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
