Parts Advisor- Hoehn Jaguar Land Rover CarlsbadJob Category: PartsRequisition Number: PARTS001245Posted: November 22, 2024Location: Jaguar Land Rover5550 Paseo Del NorteCarlsbad, CA 92008, USAHoehn Acura, a Hoehn family dealership, is looking for an experienced Parts Counter Specialist that can joinan established team to help maintain and grow our parts business.Primary duties will include, but are not limited to the following:Assist technicians and Service Advisors in selecting parts required for in shop repairsAssist retail and wholesale customers with pricing of accessories and ordering parts for repairKeep track of pending orders and follow up on back-ordered parts advising customers of any delayed itemsStay up to date on new accessory releases and updates to existing partsMaintain Acura Certification by completing all quarterly training and any other training that is required by the manufacturerBe friendly and courteous when assisting retail and internal customers as well as maintaining a positive attitudeCompares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.Determines method of shipment.Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.Inserts items into containers.Tracks warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date of replacement, and date on which part may be disposed of.Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape.Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.Operates equipment to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving area to storage or work area.Disposes materials in recycle and trash bins as directedCompletes health, safety, and compliance training as directed by managementPerforms tasks in accordance with health, safety, and compliance regulations and proceduresMaintains a safe, secure, and organized working environmentCompletes manufacturer training as directed by managementDeliver parts to Technicians in the shopIf certified, operate forklift in a careful and responsible manner.Job Requirements:Knowledge of ADP/CDK and PET parts catalog a plusAbility to multi-task as well as taking on projects and assignments within the departmentValid Driver's license with good driving recordBenefits include:Competitive Pay StructureHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance offeredPaid vacation401kWhy Hoehn Motors?The Hoehn family has been in the automobile business since the 1920s.
