Responsibilities
- Managing inventory and ensuring the availability of parts
- Assisting with parts inquiries and orders from both internal and external customers
- coordinating with suppliers to maintain stock levels
- Processing purchase orders and managing parts-related documentation
- providing exceptional customer service and support to our service department
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a parts advisor or similar role
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions required
- Understanding of basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions required.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public
- ASE Certification a plus
- Degree or Certificate from a University program in Automotive Technology a plus
- CDK experience a plus
