Job DescriptionSummary Hoshizaki America is looking for a Parts and Warehouse Clerk for our Distribution (New Jersey) team in Edison, NJ. The Parts and Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments. What Success looks like in this Role
- Review orders to ensure accurate part numbers and descriptions for correct product selection.
- Identify and resolve order discrepancies promptly.
- Verify and process customer orders for shipment via UPS, LTL, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain inventory of packaging materials such as cartons, tapes, crates, foam, and other packing material.
- Notify management of low inventory levels or impending stock depletion.
- Keep warehouse and stock area neat, organized, and clean for efficient operations.
Impact of this Role
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and in-person interactions.
- Respond to inquiries promptly regarding parts information via phone calls and emails.
- Review and troubleshoot customer problems, initiating standard corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure adequate stock of parts is maintained to meet customer demands.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and three years of shipping and receiving experience is required.
- Proficiency in operating materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet handlers, and hand trucks. Prior customer service experience is strongly desired.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and similar shipping procedures.
- Strong computer skills and organizational abilities.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist others and accept assistance.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending written work instructions.
- Friendly, outgoing personality, and great communication skills
Salary Range This position offers a competitive estimated salary range along with a comprehensive benefits package. The hourly pay range starts at a minimum of $18.40. This range is subject to change based on applicable experience.
