Location: Nicholasville,KY, USA
Accountability: Responsible for accurate shop inventory tracking and maintaining appropriate consumables for daily production as well as safety supplies. Will perform checks on shop equipment.
Responsibilities:
o Track inventory, order and allocate materials to the correct department / unit/ job number
o Process purchase orders
o Deliver/issue parts to appropriate job / storage location
o Ensure accurate accountability of all stocked items utilizing work order system
o Process and prepare inbound / outbound shipments
o Perform monthly inventories and produce documented variances
o Pickup and deliver parts from vendors as needed
Specialized or Technical Knowledge, or Education and Experience:
o Microsoft Office Applications
o Work order and/or inventory systems experience/knowledge or similar
o Forklift operating experience
Physical Requirements:
o Able to perform physical strenuous work
o Able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
o Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs
o Able to navigate into confined spaces as necessary
o Requires frequent twisting while operating equipment
Environmental Conditions: Office, maintenance floor, warehouse, outside
