Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a hybrid Parts Coordinator/Shop Technician to join their growing team! This role involves not only receiving, inventorying, and distributing parts to customers and employees but also supporting critical shop technician functions to ensure smooth operations. The Parts Coordinator/Shop Technician will maintain a clean, organized, and presentation-ready shop, while managing parts inventory and assisting technicians in the field.Kinsley Power Systems, a family-owned business, has been an industry leader in generator service, sales, and rentals for 60 years.   • Supporting field technicians with parts look-ups, compatibility checks, and availability to ensure timely repairs.
  • Working closely with parts suppliers to maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure the availability of parts in the correct quantities.
  • Ensuring each technician receives the proper parts to complete first-time successful equipment repairs.
  • Managing inventory levels to meet customer and company needs, while preventing the accumulation of unused or obsolete parts.
  • Conducting regular facility audits, taking corrective actions to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment.
  • Processing returns promptly to ensure the company receives full credit from suppliers.
  • Performing routine warehouse and shop maintenance and cleanliness, and assisting with upkeep in other facility areas as needed.
  • Managing supplier relationships and actively seeking new suppliers when appropriate.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support overall facility and inventory management.
Education and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Previous experience in parts/inventory management is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of diesel and gas engines preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and efficient time management.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
