Job Title : Parts Coordinator

Location : Onsite in Jurupa Valley, CA (5350 Wilson St, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509)

Job Schedule : Monday-Friday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Job Summary : The Parts Coordinator is a major piece to our Parts Department as they will work closely with the Parts Manager, assisting with daily operations.

Compensation : $17.79-$26.71/hr./year Starting Wages (Paid Bi-Weekly)

Day in the Job Preview : As a Parts Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our Parts Department by conducting daily cycle counts, collaborating with mechanics for equipment repairs, managing warranty parts scrapping, receiving stock orders, and supporting quarterly inventory audits to maintain precise and organized parts operations. This position is being requested to help support the SoCal Service Truck Parts delivering and inventory activity to reduce drive time.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities :

  • Performing daily cycle counts, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining well-organized parts shelves.

  • Collaborating with mechanics to identify and provide the correct parts necessary for the repair of CRST equipment.

  • Performing weekly purges of warranty parts authorized for scrapping by the Warranty Department.

  • Assisting the Parts Manager in receiving stock orders, which involves meticulous counting and organizing parts in their designated bin locations.

  • Supporting quarterly parts inventory audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Job Requirements :

  • Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen.

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Must be physically capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 50 lbs. daily.

  • Minimum of 2 years of transportation inventory management experience.

  • Inventory management experience.

  • Forklift experience (doesn't need to be certified).

Ideal Experience & Skillset :

  • Computer literacy.

  • Possessing general mechanic skills.

  • Strong communication skills between multiple parties (technicians, shop managers, drivers, foremen, parts managers, service writers, etc.).
