The varying projects will keep you from getting bored! This is a full time Anchorage based position with no travel with room for growth. Responsibilities Maintain a clean and safe work area Perform all duties with highest regard for health and safety in accordance with OSHA standards Speak with customer to determine parts needed and sale to the customer. 2 years of experience below appreciated, as this is a new store opening and this person needs to be self reliant and experienced in this kind of work. Industry Knowledge: Heavy truck and equipment parts Pumps Heavy duty electrical systems parts Snow removal equipment (Boss and Meyer) Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Proven experience as a Parts counter person. Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills Ability to independently research issues, make decisions and solve problems Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use personal protective equipment Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces Must be able to pass a drug test Benefits: Fulltime, year-round permanent position Anchorage position with no travel Weekends off: 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday Schedule Traditional Medical and Dental insurance coverage for $20 per month for single employee $1,500 HSA annual account contribution for single employee ($2,500 for family) Retirement plan with 3% employer match Paid Holidays Paid time off (PTO) accrues vacation and sick leave Employer paid life and disability insurance.
