PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide our customers with superior service by utilizing your knowledge and experience to help answer questions, trouble-shoot problems, and provide solutions to those customers and their needs.
SUMMARY
As a member of Action Truck Parts, Parts Counter Representatives are responsible for selling parts over-the-counter, over-the-phone, and occasionally, on-line, to our customers and doing so with the highest level of customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting customers in selecting and purchasing the correct parts.
- Providing pricing and product information to customers.
- Assisting with inventory validation.
- Contributing to departmental production and profitability goals.
- Maintaining customer satisfaction at or above company standards.
- Answering telephones promptly and professionally.
- Ability to apply common sense when needed, while staying within Action guidelines.
- Work cohesively and efficiently with the Team.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Some heavy lifting required
- Promotes and maintains a positive, team oriented, and customer focused attitude within department
- Must be able to demonstrates positive resourcefulness & versatility in a fast-paced, changing priority, environment
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong customer service skills
- 3-5 years of parts experience strongly preferred
- Aftermarket experience preferred
