Position Summary:

The Parts Counter Sales Representative will play a crucial role in our Parts Department. This position involves providing excellent customer service, handling retail sales, and managing inventory. If you're passionate about heavy-duty trucks and enjoy interacting with customers, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Parts Sales Process:
    • Oversee the entire parts sales process, from initial inquiry to final transaction.
    • Collaborate with the parts manager to locate any parts that are not currently in stock.
    • Fulfill special-order parts requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Customer Communication:
    • Maintain clear and timely communication with customers regarding parts availability, status, and delivery.
    • Provide friendly and professional assistance to both internal staff and external customers.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Regularly monitor stock levels in storage and on shelves.
    • Assist in replenishing stock on the Parts Department sales floor as needed.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Preferred: Experience in heavy-duty parts sales.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a professional appearance and a strong work ethic.
