Job Summary The Parts Counterperson at Chevrolet Cadillac of Santa Fe is a Full Time position. The Parts Counterperson is responsible for working with customers to identify and locate automotive parts and equipment, as well as assist in completing sales orders and processing returns. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of automotive parts and customer service skills with a commitment to providing superior customer service. Responsibilities •Follow company guidelines for outstanding customer service and satisfaction •Greet customers and assist in identifying and locating the required automotive parts and equipment •Receive customer orders and/or returns •Process shipments and returns •Track inventory and suggest to managers when orders are needed •Assist in cost control and inventory control •Complete invoices and maintain customer/supplier records •Answer customer inquiries and support escalated customer issues •Use computers to look up parts information •Recommend products that may better suit customer needs •Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of inventory in the store •Assist in loading/unloading of parts and assisting customers with carrying parts to their vehicle Requirements •High school diploma or GED •Previous experience in parts counter position at an automotive service establishment with knowledge of automotive parts •Prior experience with customer service •Knowledge in pricing and parts catalogues •Excellent verbal and written communication •Highly organized, able to multitask and have a customer service-oriented attitude •Basic mathematical skills •Computer literacy •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds •Pass pre-employment background and drug screen EEO Statement: Chevrolet Cadillac of Santa Fe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
