Job Summary:The Parts Counterperson at Commonwealth Motors is a crucial role within our dealership in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This individual will be responsible for assisting our customers and technicians with finding and ordering the necessary parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, perfect for individuals with technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.Compensation & Benefits:The salary for this position is $65,000 per year, with opportunities for bonuses and incentives. In addition to competitive pay, we offer full benefits including health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and employee discounts on services and vehicles.Responsibilities:Assist customers and technicians in locating and ordering the correct parts for vehicle repairs and maintenanceKeep accurate records of all parts transactions and inventory levelsProcess payments and handle cash and credit transactionsMaintain the parts department in an organized and clean mannerKeep up to date with new parts and products in the marketCollaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairsProvide exceptional customer service at all timesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in parts sales or automotive industry preferredStrong knowledge of automotive parts and their functionExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyProficient in computer systems and programsDetail-oriented and organizedPhysically able to lift and move heavy parts as neededMust be available to work evenings and weekends as neededValid driver's license and clean driving recordEEOC Statement:Commonwealth Motors is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
