Responsibilities
- Pull and fill orders for daily shipment, delivery and/or pick-up
- Help customers identify and locate the specific parts they need for their vehicles
- Answer incoming calls and assist with parts inquiries
- Call on outside vendors for emergency out-of-stock needs
- Communicate with customers on price quotes, payment processing and credit authorization
- Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing
- Ensure internal parts requests are properly billed
- Maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock
- Notify management of parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required
