Suntrup Ford Westport is hiring a Parts driver/porter. Parts driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of parts to our commercial customers. Also responsible for the cleanliness of delivery vehicle. Job Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to customer and pick up customer returns
- Maintain all necessary documents, invoices, return slips, mileage log, fuel receipts, etc.
- Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations
- Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to parts manager
- Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safety standards and laws
- Able to efficiently and accurately stock parts, count and organize
- Help with tasks throughout the parts department (Inventory, Counting Parts, etc)
- Collecting Cores, labeling
- Cleaning, taking trash out
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
- Must be able to Pass Drug test
- Must Pass Criminal background check.
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Familiarity with automotive parts is required
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Must have good attendance
- Must be good with numbers and verifying parts/orders
- Must be able to drive Full Size Transit Van (GPS Equipped to track deliveries)
