ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Receives and distributes parts from the storeroom in accordance with standard operating policies and procedures.
- Receives and signs for parts and supplies, verifying quantity and quality.
- Issues parts and supplies from approved requisitions.
- Assist maintenance personnel with issuing parts for work orders.
- Prepare items for shipment.
- Barcode all parts with part number, information and place in proper locations.
- Track daily item usage.
- Use service manuals and online resources to look up parts.
- Obtain parts quotes and order parts per Lextran policy and procedures.
- Issue purchase orders to vendors for daily transactions.
- Perform daily cycle counting.
- Assist with annual inventory.
- Assist with classification of parts.
- Keep the storeroom secure, clean, and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be competent using parts manuals and vendor software.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions.
- Ability to use the following MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT: Forklift, pallet jack, company truck, scanner, and computer.
- Must be punctual and maintain regular attendance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or its equivalent strongly preferred.
- One to two years of related experience preferred but not required.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license to operate agency vehicles.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB
- Ability to lift and/or carry 80 pounds.
- Requires some exposure to excessive noise, extreme temperatures, fumes/odors, some hazardous materials, and dirt/dust.
- May be required to stoop, bend, kneel or climb.
- Occasionally operates a sit-down forklift.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule as needed.
