DFS also services customers utilizing its 20+ nationwide service centers; each offering select services, such as accident repair, paint, refurbishment and heavy mechanical repair. DFS is currently hiring a **Parts Inventory Coordinator** to join our Field Maintenance Support team to support future growth of the Company. If you are looking for a new place to call home, we would love to talk to you!

**DUTIES**

* Help answer phones/emails and assist internal customers (Mobile Service Technicians) with individual needs for Parts, provide parts cost estimates, procurement timelines, etc.

* Handle, respond to, and direct incoming correspondence, calls, and tasks with vendors and DFS technicians in a timely manner.

* Manage parts inventories assigned to mobile technicians / service trucks, perform cycle counts and redistribute unused parts to other technicians or return to vendors.

* Order parts, perform part runs, deliver inventory to technicians in the field, shipping/receiving.

* Communicate with vendors via email, fax, or phone to provide/obtain purchase order approvals and/or discuss billing questions.

* Gather necessary paperwork and upload into system for records.

* Create and catalogue weekly and monthly inventory reports.

* Perform accurate cycle counts, inventory checks and track/update parts in the system and/or in the field

* Provide excellent customer service by going above and beyond internal customers expectations.

* Contributes to achievement of Major Market goals and objectives.

* Maintains a safe and compliant working environment.

* Attends management meetings when requested.

* Support ad-hoc projects related to the DFS priorities and initiatives.

**Qualifications:**

**REQUIREMENTS**

* Where permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this U.S. based job. *(Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.)*

* 1+ years experience in a commercial/diesel vehicle repair shop and/or fleet service department as a Parts Associate; Automotive Parts experience is OK.

* Experience in positions demonstrating the ability to provide exceptional customer service to external and internal contacts.

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

* Excellent organizational and time management skills, and an almost obsessive attention to detail.

* Proficient computer skills, including MS Excel and Word, and the ability to learn new systems quickly, (such as DFS IT Systems, including Web Wrench, MobileFrame, RO Writer)

* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of tasks

* Strong Excel and data entry skills, and the ability to learn new platforms

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization

* Dependable, organized and committed

* Mechanically savvy and the ability to learn parts and processes.

* Positive attitude, good instincts and self-motivation

* High energy, a positive attitude, adaptability and strong work ethic. Resourceful and motivated

* Common knowledge of the trucking industry; experience with fleet maintenance or other transportation experience in automotive/trucking would be very helpful
