Hiring Range: DOQ

Day Shift, Monday – Friday

Position Summary

This position will manage daily operations of the Parts Department and Parts Department Warehouse, including facilities management. The person will be charged with maintaining a safe, clean, orderly and efficient workplace environment that meets the business needs of the business and our customers.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages parts ordering, receiving and shipping departments to meet Dealer needs.
  • Manages parts warehouse inventory.
  • Effectively executes the Barcode system to manage Warehouse inventories.
  • Maintains adequate inventory stock levels to meet Dealer demand.
  • Maintains the Parts Receiving and Shipping areas in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
  • Ensures work performed in all areas adheres to standard work procedures established for each area.
  • Selects vendors for yard maintenance, janitorial services, fire systems, equipment service and other facility related activities and manage those relationships.
  • Oversees special projects related to maintaining or improving our facilities.
  • Studies current operating processes and procedures to identify areas where we can improve efficiency, safety and quality or reduce cost.
  • Manages the workforce in areas of assigned responsibility to ensure compliance with company policies, safe work practices and a good working environment.
  • Monitors Parts inventory, forecasts parts demand and order to maintain adequate inventory to meet customer needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A four-year degree in Engineering, Operations Management. Business or similar field is preferred, but not required.
  • Five years' experience in Parts and Logistics.
  • Experience in forecasting and maintaining Parts inventory.
  • Facility management experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products. SAP experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate employees in a manufacturing, assembly or shipping environment
