Job DescriptionGateSource HR is happy to partner with an industry leading company in the areas of mining, mineral and aggregates in their search for a Parts manager in their New Jersey location. This role will be directly responsible for inventory management, procurement, customer support, reporting & analysis, as well as compliance and safety. This is an onsite position located in New Jersey. Candidates must have a proven track record in streamlining operations throughout the supply chain and ensuring the highest level of customer service. Day to Day activities include:
  • Oversee and maintain parts inventory par levels, ensuring sufficient levels of product while minimizing excess.
  • Compile, maintain, and track accurate inventory records by utilizing inventory management software
  • Accurately track stock levels for orders and deliveries.
  • Create and execute strategies for efficient storage and organization of warehouse to ensure quick and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts and components, negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their parts requirements and provide timely and accurate parts solutions.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, supplier performance, and parts sales for senior management.
  • Ensure that all supply chain management activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Implement best practices for warehouse safety and inventory handling
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in parts management, preferably in the mining, construction, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Expert knowledge of inventory management systems and procurement processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and price negotiation.
  • Analyze data, forecast demand, and develop inventory strategies.
  • Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., ERP systems, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
