DescriptionThe bilingual English/Spanish speaking Parts Sales Representative is responsible for fostering and maintaining strong customer relationships to accurately assess and fulfill replacement part needs. This role involves proactively engaging with both new and existing customers, developing tailored solutions to enhance market share, and consistently delivering high-quality parts at competitive prices. The representative is also focused on driving customer satisfaction through responsive service and long-term relationship management.ResponsibilitiesTravel to companies and businesses to sell parts for industrial equipment for mechanical usesInspect existing equipment and recommend upgrades or replacementsProvide competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned productsPerform product demonstrations and application supportImprove product knowledge and sales techniquesTravel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talk with customers by phoneEstimate the date of delivery to the customer, based on knowledge of the manufacturing department's production and delivery schedulesCoordinate with the Service Department installation and test operation of parts or repairs neededRecommend solutions to product-related problemsManage and develop new customers, while maintaining existing sales within assigned customers and a given sales territoryDevelop a daily/weekly call list and maintain information accuracy monthlyReview daily sales reports and complete administrative tasks accurately and on timeReview monthly the best monitoring sales report with management to determine if goals and objectives are being metFollow policies and procedures; support company's goals and valuesRequirementsAbility to negotiate pricing while achieving revenue goals and delivering resultsHeavy Equipment parts sales experience requiredMust be able to guard confidential information on pricing, products, etc.Capacity to logically solve problems and manage projects by utilizing a data-driven, detail-oriented approachAnalytical ability to prepare performance reports, cost/price analyses, and other performance measuresPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with customers and co-workersManage difficult or emotional customer situations with tactRespond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve serviceAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressureDemonstrated ability to work well with others and to participate in and/or lead a cross-functional teamPossess the ability to drive for results, hold self-accountable, and continuously improveBachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience in Project Management RoleBilingual skills required (English/Spanish)The duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description are intended to represent the essential functions of the position and are not exhaustive.
