The Parts Counter Salesperson's primary responsibility is to effectively and efficiently sell parts and engage in the general operations associated with our parts business. Additional duties include maintaining a professional retail sales environment, promote customer satisfaction, and contribute to the team's overall success.
Specifically, the Parts Counter Salesperson is accountable for:
Ø Greeting walk-in and phone-in customers in a friendly way, professionally qualifying their parts needs, and differentiating Rigg's from our competitors by providing excellent customer service.
Ø Selling parts to customers
Ø Keeping parts inventories stocked and inventory correct in our computerized business system
Ø Performing inventory audits
Ø Contacting customers regarding parts availability
Ø Clean, well organized, and stocked Parts & Service counter and Parts displays
Secondarily, the Parts Counter Salesperson duties include as necessary:
Ø Working with the Service Supervisor and helping customers with their service questions and checking in their equipment
Ø Assisting mechanics with getting parts for shop jobs
Ø Executing on policies and procedures necessary to maximize operational efficiency
Ø Other duties as necessary based on the needs of the business or customer
The requirements for the Parts Counter Sales position include:
Ø Being ready for business by 7:45AM each day and work Saturdays during peak season
Ø Ability to speak politely and maintain a professional appearance with customers over the phone and in the store
Ø Ability to move and lift equipment and heavy objects
In addition to the competitive hourly wage, a monthly bonus based on achieving quota is paid!
