Other benefits include tuition reimbursement, earned wage access, discounts, 10 Paid Holidays, and more!We are looking for a new team member in Parts & ServiceDuties: Follows standard work in order to meet goals with respect to safety, quality, and production. Actively participates in continuous training, apply basic reasoning skills, use the required computer/software and follow all of Agri-Fab's policies and processes to process parts and service shipments.Major Duties:
  • Provide timely processing of parts orders to all AF customers internal and external
  • Material handling duties
  • Specialization in LTL shipments, John Deere, stocking orders, painted large parts and obsolete parts
  • Stocking of parts on static shelves and parts carousel
  • Cross-trains in order to perform all tasks in Parts and Service, including parts carousel
  • Ability to effectively order parts from part supplier and returns specialist
  • Works overtime as needed
Essential FunctionsRequired but not limited to:
  • Maintains work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Demonstrates sufficient technical proficiency to support departmental goals.
  • Maintains and improves on own standard work. Meets or exceeds production rates and quality standards.
  • Ensures work-station is set-up properly, correct use of proper tools, etc., to assure adherence to safety, ergonomic and quality standards.
  • Orders parts from the warehouse and parts supplier as needed
  • Verifies parts using work instructions or blueprints. Assures pieces and material received for processing and removed after processing are tagged with correct count and identification number, without multiple tags.
  • Ability to operate and empty cardboard compactor
  • Process orders/shipments in accordance with Agri-Fab's policies and procedures
  • Fork Truck certification is required.

    • Accurately adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides.
    • Verifies parts using work instructions.
    • Successfully completes training or demonstrates proficiency in blueprint reading.

    • Effectively communicates with coworkers and supervisors.
    • Writes clearly and legibly.
    • Able to present information at department meetings.
    • Composes grammatically correct and professional emails.
  • Basic Reasoning Skills
    • Applies common sense when following written and oral instructions.
    • Reads, interprets, and takes action on written instruction.
    • Reads and understands bills of material.

    • Assesses current situation and addresses issues.
  • Physical Requirements and Manual Dexterity
    • Constant standing throughout shifts, with frequent walking.
    • Frequent bending, lifting, and/or carrying throughout shift.
    • May lift up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
    • Effective use of appropriate basic hand and power tools.
  • Required to successfully complete Industrial Powered Vehicle certification, including any necessary hearing and/or vision testing.
