Job Title: Parts & Service TechnicianLocation: Temple, TX Reports To: Parts & Service ManagerPrimary duties will include: Build and inspect products and components to ensure they meet the Company's quality and safety standards. If a product failure occurs, the Parts & Service Technician is expected to make sure the product is repaired or replaced. This position has frequent interaction with internal and external customers, so the ability to interact effectively, efficiently, and professionally is very important. This position is deployable and will require travel to customer sites for install and/or repair of Company products and components. Set the highest ethical standards for self and others. Other duties as assignedRequirements: Experience in a quality control/quality assurance role Strong attention to detail Exceptional ability to communicate with internal and external customers Ability to travel up to 30% Clean driving record, as the person in this role will be put on the Company's vehicle insurance Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Critical thinking skills with an ability to reason. Self-motivated, autonomous, and flexible team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Ability to present new methodologies and ideas, while remaining receptive to constructive feedback Excellent with time management; ability to re-prioritize based on changing tasks and/or deadlines. Experienced using Microsoft office suite to include Word and Excel This position requires the ability to work overtime and some weekends due to travel schedule.Preferred education: High School diploma is preferred, GED required. We will consider additional experience in lieu of diploma.The essential physical & environmental requirements of the position are: Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment, heat and cold. Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to stand prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them.
