Location: Bergey's Ford- Ambler, PA Pay: $18-$20 / hour based on experience Summary: Ships and receives all incoming orders and parts in a timely manner. Essential Duties
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Assembles and prepares orders for shipment.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet requirements.
- Maintains inventory of materials and supplies.
- Loads and unloads parts, materials onto or from pallets, with a forklift or by hand.
- Develops a loading plan to properly plan parts placement of orders.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials according to orders.
- Operates propane industrial truck or electric forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screening
